steel t bar is a kind of steel cast into T-shape. It gets its name because its cross section is the same as the English letter “t”. There are two types of steel t bar:
1.steel t bar is directly split from H-shaped steel, which has the same use standard as H-shaped steel (GB/T11263-2017) and is an ideal material to replace double angle steel welding. It has the advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, cost saving and light structure weight.
2. Hot-rolled steel t bar, which is mainly used in machinery and filling hardware steel.
Steel t bars are used to support double brickwork in areas where the opening below will not be infilled. The base of the T-bar closes the cavity. Due to constantly being exposed to environment elements, all of our T-bars are hot dip galvanized so that there are never any issues with rust or corrosion.
