1)Different colors
The surface of hot-rolled plate is brown, and the color is inconsistent, or bai has du pattern without oil.
2)Different texture edges
The texture of cold-rolled plate is delicate and smooth, and the edge is neat
The surface texture of hot-rolled plate is rough, the shape is not regular for cold rolling, and sometimes the edges are irregular.
3)Different specifications
Cold-rolled plates are generally thin with a thickness of less than 3.0mm (except for customization), silvery white is galvanized plate, and color is color coated plate.
Hot-rolled plates are generally over 1.5mm (except customized ones), the thinnest is not less than 1.0, and they have temperature-dependent oxidation patterns.
4)Different hardness
Cold-rolled plate has high hardness and is relatively difficult to process, but it is not easy to deform and has high strength; Hot rolled steel plate has low hardness, easy processing and good ductility.
5)Different production processes
Cold rolling is carried out at normal temperature, the cold-rolled steel plate has better strength and the cold-rolled thickness is relatively small; Hot-rolled steel plate is rolled at high temperature, which has better ductility, and hot-rolled steel plate can have larger thickness.
