Hot dip galvanized round pipe is to make molten metal react with iron matrix to produce alloy layer, so as to combine the matrix and coating. Hot-dip galvanizing is to pickle the steel pipe first. In order to remove iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe, after pickling, the steel pipe is cleaned in an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride or a mixed aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride, and then sent to a hot-dip plating tank. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life. Complex physical and chemical reactions take place between the substrate of hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and molten plating solution, forming a corrosion-resistant zinc-iron alloy layer with compact structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe matrix. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance

Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of thick coating, uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
Galvanized pipes are now mainly used for transporting gas and heating.
