Introducing our newest product, Galvalume Coil, specially designed to provide superior corrosion resistance and extended service life. This particular product is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon, making it perfect for a variety of applications.
The surface coating of galvanized steel coil has a unique honeycomb structure. Microscopically, the coating consists of aluminum "honeycombs" containing zinc. This clever design not only provides anodic protection but also reduces the chance of electrolysis due to the aluminum encapsulating the zinc material. However, it is important to note that cutting galvalume may result in a reduction in its anodic protection capabilities. Therefore, it is recommended to minimize cutting and protect the edges with anti-rust measures such as paint or zinc-rich paint to prolong the service life of the plate.
