Introducing our GL Coil, also known as Galvalume Coil, a revolutionary product that combines the best properties of Galvanized and Aluminum materials. The surface coating of our galvanized sheets consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and small amounts of other elements. This unique composition creates a honeycomb structure where the aluminum honeycomb holds the zinc material.
On a microscopic scale, this honeycomb structure provides excellent anodic protection, but with the reduced zinc content and the zinc material encapsulated in aluminium, the risk of electrolysis is minimized. However, this also means that when the galvanized sheet is cut, the cut edges are not protected and rust may develop. To solve this problem, it is necessary to minimize the cutting and apply anti-rust paint or zinc-rich paint to protect the edges and prolong the service life of the board.
